Dianna (Dee) Magnoni is the library director at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Massachusetts. Dee was hired as the library’s first director in 2002 and set up many of its services and resources from scratch. Dee uses surveying software for work, professional, and community purposes and has presented on the nuts and bolts of surveying as well as its many uses.

Dee previously worked in business and engineering libraries in corporate America and academia. Her employers included the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Helix Technology Corporation. Dee received her MLS from SUNY-Albany and her BA from Lehigh University. Her society affiliations include SLA (president, SLA Boston, 2005–2006; current chair, Professional Development Advisory Council; past Board of Directors member; past chair, IT Division); ALA; ASIS&T; and ASEE. She is also a college representative for IATUL.
