Connie Crosby is the founder of Crosby Group Consulting, law librarian, writer, speaker, and instructor with the University of Toronto Faculty of Information Studies Professional Learning Centre where she teaches a full day "hands-on" workshop on social networking tools. Connie has been involved in electronic social networking since 1986 (before the Web) and is now actively involved in social networking communities involving podcasters, wiki consultants, bloggers and other new media specialists. She is a prolific blogger: Connie is a core contributor to the co-operative Canadian law and technology blog Slaw, was the Canadian correspondent on Jim Milles' law librarian podcast Check This Out! , and has her own self-named blog for law librarians conniecrosby.blogspot.com . Connie has a regular column about professional development and technology on LLRX.com called "The Tao of Law Librarianship." She has also served as President of the Toronto Association of Law Libraries and on the Executive Board of the Canadian Association of Law Libraries. Connie recently co-chaired Libraries Without Borders, the U.S./Canada northeast regional law library conference held in Toronto in October 2007.
