Oya Y. Rieger is the Director of Digital Library and Information Technologies (DLIT) at the Cornell University Library (www.library.cornell.edu/dlit).  DLIT has responsibility for planning, implementing, and providing technical support for digital library initiatives, including creation and management of digital collections and e-publishing programs. She also coordinates library's Digital Consulting and Production Services (http://dcaps.library.cornell.edu), which is an enterprise unit with th goal of offering integrated planning and production services in support of digital library initiatives. She has a diverse background in digital libraries, including managing the creation and maintenance of digital collections, conducting research on imaging and digital preservation, implementing content management systems, planning entrepreneurial library initiatives, and conducting usability studies.  She has a B.S. in Economics, an M.P.A., and an M.S. in Information Systems.
